Here is where you can find the latest Hotfix notes for Redux. Please note that these are NOT a full changelog of the mod, meaning buffs/nerfs do not represent the power of a weapon in comparison to base BL3. Redux follows it's own scaling and weapon properties, meaning this page is to be followed by REDUX players looking for the latest changes to the mod, and not NEW players looking for a definitive list of changes in comparison to Base Game. Those changes can be found HERE

Balance Changes

Lowered enemy health values on Mayhem 10. We have implented this change in hopes that it will ease the scaling curve, preventing most lower tiered items from being outscaled at endgame. Values have changed from 3000% to 2750%

Adjusted the Mayhem Level values to ensure that the climb from Mayhem 1 - 10 feels smoother.

Adjusted various enemy health values in the Maliwan Takedown.


Loot Changes

Added 3 NEW Weapons!

Pearlescent & Contraband items now drop exclusively on Mayhem 10. They will no longer drop on Mayhem Levels 6 - 9.

Adjusted various Contraband dedicated drop rates. All Contraband items now have a ~3% flat drop chance from their dedicated pools.

Adjusted various Pearlescent dedicated drop rates. All Pearlescent items now have a ~5% flat drop chance from their dedicated pools.

Adjusted Vermivorous' dedicated drop pool. They now drop the Bekah and the Norfleet.

Adjusted Wotan's dedicated drop pool. He now has a ~3% chance to world drop a Pearlescent.

Added a loot spawn pattern to Wotan the Invincible.

Reverted the Tediore Nerf implemented by Gearbox on 01.21.2021

Removed certain UI Stats from item cards in order to clean them up a little.

Made adjustments to The Lob. It is now a 3 round burst shotgun.

Guardian Takedown Changes

In this update, we're making some long overdue changes to the Guardian Takedown based off of community feedback.


Added a loot drop pattern for Scourge the Invincible.

Added a loot drop pattern for Anathema the Relentless.

Added in 3 immunity phases to Anathema the Relentless.


Buffed the drop rates of certain items from Scourge's loot pool. The following item drop rates can be found below.


Eridian Focusing Stone: 30% drop chance.

Accessus Mortis: 3% drop chance.

Pearlescents: 5% drop chance.


Bug Fixes

Fixed a bug sometimes causing the LongSchlongDickDestroyer5000's weapon damage to be lower than intended.

Fixed a bug causing the Red Suit's special effect to not work as intended.

Fixed a bug causing the Tattler to be deleted from the player's inventory when reloading a save.

- Crazy Earl's Veteran Rewards Machine now sells Pearlescent Items in it's Item of the Day slot. If the player is not on Mayhem 6 or above, it will be empty.

- Merged with Apocalyptech's Reopenable Gear Chests Mod. This mod is a fantastic QOL addition which I feel will add to the farming loop of Redux. It prevents red and white chests throughout the game from remembering their opened state between level loads, so they can be re-openable without having to go out to the main menu. Big thank you to Apocalyptech for allowing this to happen :)

Due to a serious bug, I have made the tough decision to vault the De-Synthesizer Hyperion SMG. This was an incredibly tough call to make, but I do believe it was for the best. That being said: the code for the gun has been saved, and I am looking at ways of bringing it back in the future.

When Redux first launched, many items were turned into a Pearlescent in order to flesh out the rarity. Now that we are able to create new and exciting items, it is time to return these items to their original rarity and drop source. F in the chat :(

The time has finally come for the Mortis to be ushered away into the Contraband Rarity System! Going forward, the Mortis will have a 0.4% chance to drop from Scourge within the Guardian Takedown. For those of you who were lucky enough to score one before the 17th, be sure to hold onto it! Also, stay on the lookout in the near future for new pieces of Contraband to hunt down, you won't want to miss em ;)

An Update on Omeganos

Recently, I received some reports that Omeganos was spawning in NVHM which was of course, unintended. I'm still actively looking into a fix for this, and in the meantime have lowered the spawn rate for Omeganos in NVHM as low as possible. Thank you for the reports :)

Loot Changes


- Added a custom loot pool to the Black Market Vending Machine. The reason for this change is to prevent Pearlescents from showing up in the vendor each week, resulting in the Pearlescent economy being broken.

- Class Mods have been reworked. The passive pool on Legendary Class Mods has been shortened, and various passives have been buffed. Passives relating to the Class Mod's effect (Melee etc) will now be weighted higher to drop. Legendary Class Mods will now also have a much higher chance to drop with 3 Passives on them.

- Removed Various Arms Race dedicated items from the World Drop Pool

- Buffed Chest Drop Weights

- Buffed Vending Machine Legendary drop rates

Character Changes


Amara has seen Buffs to her Gun Damage related skills. The goal behind this is to give Amara more viability on a single target damage scenario without the use of Melee. Additionally, she has also seen numerous buffs to Melee skills. We've done this in order to make playing Melee on Amara feel less dependant on Melee damage type weapons and more on her hand to hand combat. We'll continue to monitor all of the following changes and gather feedback going forward.


- From Rest now grants Bonus Damage (V1) instead of Charge Time

- One With Nature now grants Bonus Melee Damage instead of Max Health

- Buffed Blitz Melee Damage

- Amara can now Melee at a greatly increased speed compared to her fellow Vault Hunters

Zane has seen some minor damage increases to his green tree. The goal with the tree was to keep it feeling important without making it take away from the promise of other trees.

FL4K has seen a slight reduction to their Pet damage, as it had previously been noted that Pet scaling felt slightly high. As it stands however, FL4K feels like they are in a great spot; and we'll continue to monitor the character going forward.

It was felt that Moze's Iron Cub damage was a little too high, and often outperformed her. For that reason, we've decided to bring it's damage down slightly, and in turn buff some of her Red Tree skills.
